Ms. Antikarov and co-chairs of the APA NY Economic Development Committee in joint collaboration with the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate organized and moderated a panel discussion on Public-Private Mega-Projects Shaping the NYC Region on June 29, 2010 at the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate.The key panel included the top leadership of Coney Island, Moynihan Station, Queens West, & Jamaica Station Development Corporations.The event got raving 5-star reviews

Co-chairs of the APA NY Economic Development Committee including Ms Bissera Antikarov organized and moderated a panel discussion on Not-For-Profits Helping Shape the Sustainability Agenda in NYC on May 26th, 2010 at NYMTC. The panel included the top Executive Directors of Van Alen Institute, Municipal Arts Society, Design Trust for Public Space, and Urban Green. The event was a great success!

Bissera Antikarov is part of a multi-disciplinary urban design and planning team working on a "Build a Better Burb" Long Island, NY competition proposal for shaping the next generation of suburban centers - to be completed in June, 2010

Ms. Antikarov and co-chairs of the APA NY Economic Development Committee and AIA NY Planning and Urban Design Committee moderated a panel discussion on Sustainable Integrated Planning at the Regional Level on March 22, 2010 at the Center for Architecture in NYC. The panel included renowned speakers from RPA & NYMTC, LIRPC & NYC Dept. of City Planning. The event was a great success!
